A MESSAGE FROM THE GRAND FIRST PRINCIPAL
My Companions;
At the 103rd annual Grand Convocation you Installed me in Abbotsford, BC on September 17th, 2022 to serve as your Grand First Principal for the upcoming year. This being the highest office in Royal Arch Masonry in British Columbia and Yukon, makes me feel very proud, and at the same time very humble. Proud the honour has been bestowed on me and I take this very seriously. Humble, because to follow in the footsteps of my predecessor who had to govern for almost 3 years do to the pandemic and introduce virtual gathering to ensure Grand Council and Grand Chapter continued functioning regardless. I shall govern Grand Chapter with the upmost professionalism, dignity and respect, with the help of the Grand Council and wisdom of the Past Grand Z’s. Trusting to meet as many companions as possible during the ensuing year. You, the Grand Superintendents, have also been challenged to perform your duties, to superintend your Chapters firmly and fairly. Remember that you were selected by your Chapter to receive this appointment which has been conferred to you. Therefore the Companions of your Chapter, yes, even your District, have the right to expect that you will devote your time, energy, and effort to enhance our Royal Art. May the Great Architect of the Universe bless us in our endeavours as we travel throughout our beautiful Jurisdiction as a Grand Chapter family. Remember, “ People join an organization because of ideals, but they stay because of you…”
